We invite you to join us on a Once-in-a-Lifetime Magical African Safari.
Join Broad Escapes on an exclusive luxury safari to Kenya—a journey curated for women who seek adventure, authenticity, and awe. With a maximum of just 11 travellers, this intimate experience ensures personalized attention, meaningful connections, and the comfort of your own guaranteed window seat for every game drive.
The magic begins from the moment we arrive in Nairobi. Get up close with orphaned baby elephants at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and step into cinematic history at the Karen Blixen House, the iconic setting of Out of Africa. Then, venture deep into three of Kenya’s most spectacular wildlife regions—Samburu National Reserve, the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and the legendary Masai Mara Game Reserve—where unforgettable encounters with Africa’s iconic wildlife await.
Each day promises jaw-dropping game drives, luxurious tented accommodations, and the chance to witness the famed “Big Five” and, if we’re lucky, the thrilling spectacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration. But this journey is about more than wildlife—it’s about connection. Along the way, we’ll engage with local communities, visit women-led artisan cooperatives, and gain insight into Kenya’s vibrant culture and conservation efforts.
This is more than a safari. It’s a soul-stirring, camera-clicking, memory-making experience for women who crave something extraordinary.
Don’t miss your seat on this unforgettable journey—space is limited!

Day 2 | Tuesday, September 15 (B/L)
NAIROBI
Our morning begins with a visit to the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage Trust, where you will learn how orphaned baby elephants and rhinos are bottle-fed and gradually reintroduced into the wild. Later enjoy lunch at Karen Blixen Coffee Garden Restaurant followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen House, once lived in by Karen, and made world famous as the movie set for “Out of Africa” with Meryl Streep and Robert Redford. To enhance your visit, we recommend watching Out of Africa before the tour—it offers a nostalgic glimpse into the landscapes we’ll explore today. Afterwards, enjoy a visit to the Giraffe Cente a sanctuary dedicated to the conservation of the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to hand-feed giraffes, which are bred for reintroduction into the wild. Return to the hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 3 | Wednesday, September 16 (B/L/D)
NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
This morning our safari begins as we travel in our comfortable 4×4 vehicles from the urban center of Nairobi through fertile highlands, across the Equator to the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier comprising of Buffalo Springs, Shaba, and Samburu game reserves. Arrive in time for a late lunch and check-in to our luxury tented camp. After lunch, relax at the camp before we embark on the first, exhilarating afternoon game drive. Return to the camp to freshen up before dinner.
Overnight in Samburu – 2 nights – Asnil Samburu Camp (or similar)
Day 4 | Thursday, September 17 (B/L/D)
SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE
Today, the full day is dedicated to enjoying the unique beauty of the reserve with morning and afternoon game drives along the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro River. Samburu National Reserve is a Kenyan less visited Game Reserve. It is relatively small compared to other Kenyan parks, but it has more to offer as well as several endangered species. It is the home to the unique rare species only found north of the equator, including the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebras, Bisa oryxes, giraffe-necked gazelle (gerenuk), and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich. It’s also home to the big five, elephant, lion, rhino, leopard, buffalo, endangered wild dog as well as Pun cake Tortoise – endangered. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the Ewaso Ng’iro River including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, and others. Return to camp for a relaxing dinner and engaging conversations as we recount the day’s incredible sightings.
Day 5 | Friday, September 18 (B/L/D)
SAMBURU – OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
This morning we say farewell to Samburu and drive to Laikipia County. Along the way visit the Nanyuki spinners and weavers (NSW), an organization that empowers local women by training them in the spinning, dyeing and weaving wool. Using locally sourced materials, they produce handmade rugs, scarves, and shawls, helping members gain financial independence and preserve traditional crafts.
Enjoy a game drive enroute to our charming camp as we enter through the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This charming camp offers a blend of under-canvas ambiance and safari luxury amidst a waterhole offering unrivalled wildlife-watching. After lunch depart for an afternoon game drive in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Keep an eye out for the black rhino, and a multitude of wildlife that call this conservancy home. Later, return to the camp for a relaxing dinner and conversation with fellow travellers.
Overnight in Ol Pejeta – 2 nights – Sweetwaters Serena (or similar)
Day 6 | Saturday, September 19 (B/L/D)
OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
Awake for an early morning game drive. Africa’s most iconic species hunt, graze, breed and fight for survival on the plains of Ol Pejeta every day, in an ecosystem that has one of the highest densities of wildlife in Kenya. Using the latest technology to monitor species populations, and smart fencing techniques that allow free movement of migratory wildlife, Ol Pejeta prides itself on being at the cutting edge of conservation innovation. As the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and the only place in Kenya to see chimpanzees, Ol Pejeta is also safeguarding some of the most vulnerable wildlife in the world and advocating for change. After a leisurely lunch, head out on another unforgettable game drive, where each turn offers new surprises.
Day 7 | Sunday, September 20 (B/L/D)
OL PEJETA – FLY TO MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Enjoy a leisure morning viewing the animals visiting the waterhole before continuing to the Nanuki Air Strip for our domestic flight (1 hr 30 mins) to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival check in to our luxury tented camp, followed by lunch. Spend three nights here to explore, discover and experience the magic and often referred to as the “Seventh Wonder of the Natural World” – Masai Mara Game Reserve, home to the “Big-Five” and world-renowned wildebeest migration from Serengeti-park Tanzania into Masai Mara-Kenya. Numerous other species of wildlife inhabit this area including hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, zebras, vultures, cranes, eagles, falcons and ostriches. Expertise and experience of our driver-guides will maximize our chances of seeing all the splendours of Masai Mara and beyond. After our afternoon game drive return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.
Overnight in Masai Mara – 3 nights – Mara West Camp (or similar)
Day 8 | Monday, September 21 (B/L/D)
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
This morning starts with an early morning game drive in the famed Masai Mara National Reserve. Have your cameras ready for this spectacular game viewing. With any luck we’ll have a chance to view the famous wildebeest migration. This annual migration through the Serengeti and Masai Mara, the largest migration of wildlife in the world, is one of the safari highlights. Sightings cannot be guaranteed as herds move with the available food sources, but generally the wildebeest are in the Masai Mara from June/July through September/October before they return to the Serengeti. Return to camp for breakfast and a day filled with cultural immersion. Kenya is a magical country filled with outstanding wildlife and diverse landscapes, but what truly makes Kenya a special place are its inhabitants; people like the Masai who have lived in close harmony with the land for centuries. Today we step beyond the safari and into the heart of Kenya’s cultural heritage. Visit a local village for a rare opportunity to engage with the Masai community—learn their customs, visit a medical clinic and school, and enjoy warm, personal interactions that offer a deeper perspective on life in Kenya. This truly will be an inspiring and memorable day for all.
Day 9 | Tuesday, September 22 (B/L/D)
MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Optional: Wake up very early for an exciting Hot Air Balloon Safari. This once-in-a lifetime experience includes an early morning flight over the famed Masai Mara Game Reserve, followed by a full champagne breakfast on the savannah. (Optional Balloon Safari – additional cost)
Those who choose not to take the balloon safari will set out for a spectacular day of game viewing. The group will reconnect later in the morning, enjoy a picnic lunch, and continue to track the animals in a different area of the park. Return to camp in the late afternoon with time to relax and reflect before gathering for our memorable farewell dinner to reminisce about this magical journey.
Day 10 | Wednesday, September 23 (B)
MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
This morning, we say our “good-byes” to the Mara and transfer to the air strip to board a short domestic flight to Nairobi. As we bid farewell to Kenya, enjoy one final cultural stop at a local artisan market—perfect for picking up meaningful souvenirs. Then transfer to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your evening departure, carrying home memories of a truly magical safari experience.
Thank you for joining us on this Magical Journey through Kenya!

This trip is appropriate for travellers who are in good health and are comfortable with full-day excursions. Participants with basic good balance, mobility, and moderate fitness level should not require physical preparation to enjoy the various activities of this tour. Walking on uneven terrain, sometimes uphill, walking and standing for long periods of time during guided tours, easy physical activities, stairways sometimes without handles, absence of elevators, and getting on and off various modes of transportation unassisted can be expected.
There are some long travel times in this itinerary, and that is because of the nature of the destination – but the travel days are also part of the adventure and an opportunity to witness life in the rural regions. Additionally, some of the game drives may be through rugged roads and rough terrain.
