Egypt
A Women’s Journey Along the Nile

October 30 – November 8, 2026

Imagine gliding down the Nile on your own elegant private dahabiya — just like-minded adventurous women, no crowds, no rush — waking to the call of prayer, sipping hibiscus tea on deck, and watching ancient temples drift by. This is not ordinary Egypt. This is Broad Escapes’ intimate journey: a celebration of millennia-old monuments, powerful queens, timeless rituals, and the sisterhood we create together.

Step into the mysteries of Egypt’s past — explore the Great Pyramids and Sphinx, wander the Valley of the Kings, and marvel at Karnak and Luxor Temples. Meet women artisans keeping traditions alive — weaving with Nubian craftswomen, sharing tea in village homes, practicing henna under the open sky and enjoying cultural exchanges that bring modern Egypt to life. Walk in the footsteps of Hatshepsut and Nefertari and enjoy the ultimate private experience as our elegant dahabiya carries only our group along the Nile, where every meal, every sunset, and every moment is yours to savour in complete comfort and privacy.

This is your chance to experience Egypt in a way few travellers ever will — to connect deeply with its history, culture, and people with an intimate group of extraordinary women. With just 14 spots available, this is a rare opportunity to claim your place on this journey that will be enriching and truly unforgettable.

LIZ CHASE

Everyone has turning points in their lives. One of mine was my very first overseas trip at the age of twelve to Algeria – I was over-awed and fascinated! Since then I’ve pursued my love for travel around the globe; attending school in Denmark and the U.S., working in France, guiding powder ski tours in Japan, and planning and creating holiday travel adventures in 38 countries so far. Travel can be transformative and provide experiences and connections to people that surprise and delight. This is the magic of travel. With a diverse professional background in corporate marketing, non-profit community building and client services, creating and implementing simple and grand plans comes naturally. The outdoors is my second home with a particular passion for going up and down mountains on skis, mountain bike or on foot! Life is an amazing journey, best shared – and in wondrous places! I’m excited to share with you, on your next Broad Escapes experience!
